Obituary

Miguel Ruben Cortez was born on December 1st, 1998 and passed away on September 29th, 2023. He was born and raised in Corona, CA to Rolando and Christine Cortez. He came into the world as the grandson of Ruben and Josephine Muro along with Lilia Cortez. He was the eldest sibling to Jessica and Daniel Cortez, who he would consider some of his best friends. He attended Centennial High School, Norco Community College, and California State University, San Bernardino where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. While attending CSUSB he eventually met his girlfriend Diana of four years and whom he shared a home and three cats with.

He was a man of many talents and hobbies, He enjoyed monster trucks, RC crawlers, BMX, sports, videography and video editing. His YouTube channel grew and evolved just like he did overtime. He loved creating and editing videos so much, he was able to make a career out of it. He started off flipping burgers at Fat Burger and becoming a merchandise stocker at Smart & Final, an Intern for Monster Energy, to becoming a camera operator for Game On, the Inland Empire 66ers, County of Riverside, County of San Bernardino and the Ontario Reign. All this experience and determination was able to land him a video editor position at Fox Sports.

Miguel left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a genuine, honorable, loving person who cared for others and always worked hard for what he wanted. He was always so proud of his family and friends; no accomplishment was too small in his eyes. Miguel would be the first to give you the shirt off his back and was not afraid to be himself. He always chose right from wrong and always stood up for what he believed in. Although Miguel was only on this earth for 24 years, he will remain forever in our hearts and memories. We love you.
